Update on work on Seabrook Island Road storm drainage system

The start of Seabrook Island storm drainage work by TRIAD Engineering has been delayed until 20 August 2018.  The first four weeks will require mobilization of equipment and materials and establishing a lay down area.  There are nine additional major events on the schedule consisting of replacement of 18, 24, and 36 inch reinforced concrete (RCP) pipes, installation of Tideflex valves, installation of 18, 24, and 36 inch cured in Place piping (CIPP), cleaning and inspections, and post video inspection. The pipe replacement is scheduled to begin on 4 September. We are planning weekly updates to keep you informed of work progress and any changes in schedules.

Please be aware of large equipment and trucks turning into and exiting the Towns’ parking lot. Look for signs, cones, and flagmen to guide you around working areas on Seabrook Island  Road. The completion date for all phases of the project is 9 November 2018.
