Main Road Corridor: Comments Period for Segment A Ends April 30

As we approach the end of the public comment period, we invite you to review, ask questions, and comment on the proposed improvements to Main Road, from Bees Ferry Road to River and Chisolm Roads. You can do this and more by clicking here.

In compliance with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommended guidelines to keep the citizens of Charleston County safe during the ongoing COVID 19 health crisis, the Main Road Corridor: Segment A public information meeting transitioned to an online-only format. This meeting launched on the project website on March 31, and will accept comments through April 30. This transition required flexibility from our project team, our planning partners, and most importantly, from you: residents, business owners, and key stakeholders. We thank you for adjusting with us to these changes during this unique time in our history.

We thank you for your interest in the Main Road Corridor project, and encourage you to share information about the online meeting with your neighbors. The County needs your feedback to shape the way this project provides traffic relief and enhances your quality of life.
