As seniors, many of us have issues with balance. Problems with balance can cause falls, broken bones, and can lead to an overall decline in health. We need to make sure we are doing all we can to maintain physical agility as we age so that we can live the lives we want.
If you’re a little shaky on your feet, we hope you have been practicing the balance exercises that Mark Durinsky, Personal Trainer at the Lake House, showed us last week. To change it up a bit, Mark has a few new exercises aimed at improving balance in this short video. While the Lake House is closed and you’re staying at home, take a few minutes each day to run through these exercises and make them part of your ‘new normal’ daily routine.
