Turtle Patrol Report for the Week Ending August 2

Update August 4 – There was significant damage to turtle nests from the storm. Several nests were washed over and a few washed away. The Turtle Patrol is in the process of salvaging as many as possible.

Monday, July 27
We have Nest 61! Kim Neath reported a crawl 50 yards
past the trash can on North Beach. Bill & Linda Nelson responded and found the eggs back in the grasses on the dune. It was left in situ.
