Does Covid-19 have you sitting on the couch just a little too much? Are you ready to set new goals and get active? Well, you’re in luck. The Lake House is excited to announce that its first Couch to 5K program is starting Saturday, September 12, 2020.

Lake House Trainer, Sarah Mae, created this 8-week program with you in mind.  Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned runner the Couch to 5K program was designed to help you push your limits and reach your goals. Each Saturday, participants will meet on The Lake House lawn for a group workout. After the workout, you will receive an outline of the next weeks training schedule.

This program allows you to select one of three programs best suited to your fitness level and goals: Walk, Walk/Run, Run. No matter what program you choose, there will always be three 5K geared workouts and two cross-training days. The weekly workout we do together will be cardio based, but still considered one of your cross-training days.
