As we all know, the start of school on September 8 will be different from any school year most of us can remember. Because of COVID-19, students at Mt. Zion Elementary School will not have playground equipment to use at the start of the school year.
Anna Mims, Mt. Zion’s principal, is asking for the following: the donation of new or gently-used beach and bath towels to use when the students go outside for recess or outdoors instruction. The towels will provide something to sit on, rather than the ground itself.
If you have any new or used beach or bath towels, please leave them on my front steps, 2824 Dove Nest Court, the house looks like it is on Cap’n Sams.
