At 4:45 pm on Wednesday, September 16, Tidelines learned that there are two separate traffic incidents:
- There is an accident on Savannah Highway near Main Road and all Southbound traffic heading towards Savannah is being rerouted.
- There is a tree down on Main Road near Old Pond. The road is closed as they are waiting for larger equipment to remove the tree.
Expect delays on and off Johns Island via Main Road and Savannah Highway. You may want to take Maybank Highway as an alternate route.
