While during this season we welcome back all our old friends from the great frozen north, a new addition has been made to the SIPOA administrative team: Steve Arnold, the new Director of Finance. Steve began getting up to speed in early October, just in time to get to work on the 2021 budget.
Steve and his wife, Shelly, come to us from the Ashville, NC, area among other locales. They have two boys and now their first granddaughter! They discovered the Lowcountry during their vacation and work travels up and down the east coast. Steve has a wealth of experience in finance management including stints at Arthur Anderson and The Sea Pines Corporation at Hilton Head.
While some may think that accounting and its attendant fields are, perhaps, a little dry, Steve loves to dig in because he finds that the numbers always tell a story. We are very fortunate to have someone with Steve’s expertise helping us navigate the current financial waters.
