February Evening Program:
Prohibition in South Carolina

February’s program on Thursday evening will explore South Carolina’s experience during the early twentieth century’s Prohibition years in a program presented by Abigail Geedy of the Horry County Museum. See how South Carolinians dealt with the Volstead Act of 1919, barring the sale of alcoholic beverages until the Act’s repeal in 1932.
