Renew 50 Update
On April 27, 2023, the SIPOA Board Facilities Subcommittee published a new report on Renew 50. You can access it through the SIPOA website or go directly to the new report by clicking here. If you have any questions, please use the Renew 50 Public Comment feature on the SIPOA website. Click on Renew 50 on the right of the website and scroll down to the very bottom to access this feature.
Traffic Signage Notice
Beginning next week, you will notice some revised traffic signage on Royal Pine Drive and Baywood Drive. After a thorough review from the Safety & Security Committee, the General Operations & Maintenance Committee, and a traffic engineering consultant, two revisions were recommended.
- The stop signs on Baywood Drive at the Cap’n Sams intersection will be removed.
- Stop signs will be added on Royal Pine Drive at the Old Forest Drive intersection.
There will be “Stop Sign Ahead” signs placed on Royal Pine Drive. A “Cross Traffic Does Not Stop” sign will be added to the Cap’n Sams stop sign at Baywood Drive.
Please be aware of these changes and drive carefully in these areas.
Fourth of July 5K Walk/Run
Monday, July 3, 2023, 8:00 am
Walkers, Walk-Runners & Runners are all welcome! Every participant must complete this Registration Form. The race will start promptly at 8:00 am at The Lake House. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes early. The course is just over a 5K at 3.5 miles and participants will be placed in corrals to space out the start. This is a fun run – a clock will be at the start/finish; however, there will not be official times recorded.
Race Packet Pickup – Saturday, July 1, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at The Lake House. Race Day Pickup is from 7:00 am – 7:30 am. There are no refunds. If you have any questions, please email jmogus@sipoa.org
