So many people were instrumental in making the 4th of July Parade a success – the Activity Committee, The Lake House, and the groups that decoratated their cars or LSVs.
We also need to thank the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) for their work directing traffic before and after the parade. Below are a few of the many CERT volunteers that were at multiple corners diverting vehicles away from the parade route.
CERT is a volunteer, FEMA trained and certified organization of residents whose primary mission is to provide first response to the community in the event of an emergency or disaster. For more information about Lowcountry (Charleston County) CERT, click here.
