The Kiawah Arts & Cultural Events Council is presenting the following events in September:
Piano Bar – Gary Pecorella performs on Wednesday, September 20, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The Sandcastle. No tickets are required and there is no charge. Not meant to be concerts, Piano Bars are to enjoy with friends and offer an opportunity to meet neighbors outside your circle for some island socializing. Bring your beverage of choice and a snack to “tide” you over.
The Alva Anderson Quartet with Special Guest Mark Sturbank will be at The Seabrook Island Club on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 7:30 pm. Tickets are on sale now. Join vocalist and violist Alva Anderson for an evening of jazz, blues, bossa nova, and original music. Originally from the Bronx, her style is influenced by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Ruth Brown. More info here.
