SIV held their second annual Mahjongg Day on October 17. The event proved to be a huge success with 40 women participating in a day filled with mahjongg, lunch, a good bit of kibitzing and a chance to meet new friends. The grand prize went to Carolyn McCormick. There were door prizes won throughout the day as well as a small parting gift of a mahjongg keychain for all participants.
Our thanks to The Seabrook Island Club for presenting a lovely buffet luncheon and for the use of the Atlantic Room. The response was overwhelmingly good. We are planning to have another mahjongg event in the winter.
