Thank you, Seabrookers
for conserving Lot 6, 2723 Old Oak Walk!

Hooray! Thanks to the generosity of more than 75 Seabrookers, the Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy (SIGSC) was able to purchase Lot 6, 2723 Old Oak Walk on October 30. In late August, we appealed to the community to help us preserve additional green space before build-out on Seabrook Island. We had a willing seller for Lot 6, but needed additional funds to complete the purchase by the October deadline.
During the last two months Seabrookers exceeded our goal with contributions of more than $90,000 to make this purchase happen. Lot 6 at 2723 Old Oak Walk, while relatively small, is part of a cluster of eight conservation lots in the old Oak Walk/Royal Pine Drive neighborhood and provides a critical mass for our natural environment.
We are profoundly grateful for your generosity and support of SIGSC’s mission to preserve the natural beauty of our Island and provide wildlife habitat. One of our donors commented that “we feel such preservation is important to maintain the character of the island and all that people love about the island.” Another said that “we must do our part to protect the wildlife and be their voice.” Thank you, Seabrookers!
If you want to support our mission to preserve additional properties, you can make a tax-deductible donation at www.sigsc.net or send to:
