Celebrate South Carolina Native Plant Week with us! The Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy and the Kiawah Conservancy are excited to offer a selection of native plants perfect for the coastal conditions of Kiawah, Seabrook, and Johns Island. These plants support local wildlife and they have thrived in gardens within the Kiawah River Watershed. The plants are being sold in groups like a “sun” group and a “partial shade” group. After pre-ordering one or more of the groups, you can pick them up at Kiawah’s Night Heron Park where conservancy volunteers will help load them into your vehicle.
Planting native species provides medicine for our Earth. These plants are adapted to local conditions and promote biodiversity. We hope this sale inspires you to create a beautiful, native plant-filled landscape in at least a portion of your yard. Planting natives is not just about changing the look of your garden, it’s about creating a vibrant, thriving ecosystem.
