Kiawah Arts & Cultural Events Council is sponsoring this event which is open to everyone, not just Kiawah residents or Seabrook Island Club members. Beverages may be purchased using a SI Club card, amenity card, or cash (no credit cards).
Party like it’s 1920 with the Gatsby Orchestra! Founded by Bill McSweeny in 2019, this orchestra is a standard 1920s-style ensemble crossed between traditional jazz and World War II-era New Orleans swing music. The orchestra’s motto is “where you take center stage” because it considers audience participation a central element of its music. Put on your 20s-themed clothing and dancing shoes because attendees are invited to come early for an optional Charleston dance lesson 30 minutes before the show at 7:00 pm.
