Proposed Health and Wellness Village
Betsy Kerrison Parkway
Last February, after strenuous objections from local residents, the Charleston County Council denied a developer’s request to build a medical village on Betsy Kerrison Parkway. Now the developer has submitted virtually the same proposal again to the Charleston County Planning Commission.

The Kiawah Conservancy has issued an E-blast to surrounding communities that includes details about the revived proposal and provides information about how to submit comments. You can view the E-blast here.
The Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy opposes this proposed development for the reasons stated in the Kiawah Conservancy E-blast.
Comments must be submitted to the Planning Commission by 5:00 pm on November 14, 2024. You can also submit comments to Jenny Honeycutt, Seabrook Island’s representative on the Charleston County Council. You can contact Ms. Honeycutt by phone at (843) 693-6447 or by email at jhoneycutt@charlestoncounty.org.
