TOSI Happenings for the Week of November 11

Town Hall will be closed Monday, November 11, 2024 for Veterans Day. Town Hall will reopen on for normal business hours on Tuesday, November 12. Additionally, Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and November 29 for Thanksgiving. Town Hall will reopen on Monday, December 2.

Town of Seabrook Island Second Reading of Short-Term Rental and Related Ordinances – The Second Reading will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 9:30 am at Kiawah Island Town Hall, 4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island, South Carolina. Beach Safety During Beach Renourishment Project– During low tide, from BW 1 to Cap’n Sams Inlet, please walk on the high side; from BW 1 to BW 7, walk near the water.

Temporary Beach Rules Now in Effect – Town Council adopted Emergency Ordinance 2024-01 in an effort to protect beachgoers (and their pets) from hazards resulting from the ongoing sand scraping and seawall repair projects. This is effective immediately through December 22, 2024. Read more about the rules here.

Exciting news! – All four EV charging stations are now up and running at Town Hall. The cost is 18 cents per kWh. The charging stations are located in the contractor parking lot to the left of Town Hall.

2024 Holiday Extravaganza – It’s never too early to begin thinking about the holidays. The Town’s Holiday Extravaganza is planned for Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
