SIAG Announcement of New Events

Do you love art? Like to talk art? Interested in dabbling in art?

If any or all of those questions apply or you’re just curious about anything art, the Seabrook Island Artist Guild has fun, free events for you!

Beginning in February, SIAG is offering a new program referred to as Art Enrichment Tuesdays (AET). On selected Tuesday afternoons, a series of presentations such as art media exploration, mini-workshops, personal artwork reviews/critiques, and many others, will be held in the Eagles Nest Studio at the Lake House.

Information regarding these new event opportunities can be found on our website by clicking here.

There is no charge except when materials apply and no experience is required.

A few of the upcoming topics include Basis of Drawing the Figure, Exploring Techniques of Pastels, and Appreciation of Watercolor Paints.

To kick off the first AET, we will have a rousing presentation on John Singer Sargent and his famed artwork, “Madame X and The Scandal of Paris!”
