The bike pathway will be temporarily CLOSED between Andell Bluff Boulevard (Marina Entrance) and Freshfields from Monday, August 18, through Friday, August 22. The section between the Marina Entrance and the SIPOA Gate will remain open. This is for Seafields and MUSC projects.
Barricades will be installed to block bike and pedestrian traffic in the following locations:
- Across from the marina entrance, where the concrete sidewalk/crosswalk meets the bike pathway (behind the fence), to prevent bicyclists/pedestrians from turning left onto the pathway towards Seafields.
- Both sides of the driveway entering the Seafields site.
- The entrance to the pathway coming from Freshfields.
“Pathway Closed” signage will also be at both ends of the pathway starting Monday morning.
