The next meeting of the Seabrook Island Garden Club will be held on Friday, November 14 at 9:30 am at the Oyster Catcher Community Center. This month, we are excited to welcome Zack Snipes, Horticultural Agent with the Clemson Cooperative Extension, who will provide a special presentation on growing citrus in the Lowcountry.
Zack brings extensive experience in vegetable and small fruit production from working closely with researchers from Clemson’s Coastal Research and Education Center and the USDA Vegetable Lab. He is currently focused on multiple research projects aimed at helping growers successfully cultivate different citrus varieties in our coastal climate.
Join us for an informative and engaging session as Zack shares his expertise, practical tips, and research-based insights into growing healthy and productive citrus plants right here in the Lowcountry.
