Reminder: Sustainability Workshop Series at St. Christopher

St. Christopher Sustainability Workshop Series
Session 2: Invasive Plant Species
December 2, 2025
6:00 pm

We are excited to announce new programming coming this fall! All are welcome to join us at St. Christopher Camp & Conference Center for our new Sustainability Workshop series.

A big THANK YOU to all who attended our first Sustainability Workshop on rain barrels! Tyler Harris, Associate Director of the Barrier Island Environmental Education Program, provided us with a comprehensive overview of the components and purposes of rain barrels. Participants also had the opportunity to see some of the ways our staff is implementing water conservation on St. Christopher’s property.

The second workshop in this series will take place in our Temple Conference Center on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6:00 pm. All are welcome to join us. We will be discussing invasive plant species in our area and what you can do about them.

Sign up here for this free workshop to learn more about how you can implement sustainable practices into your own life, to hear from our team of environmental educators, and potentially win a native plant to take home!

This workshop series will take place on the first Tuesday of every other month. We will explore additional topics in the future, including pollinator gardens, wildlife monitoring, and other related areas.

Sign up for December’s Invasive Plants Workshop by clicking here. Let’s partner together to take care of this beautiful island we share. We hope to see you in December!
