Arrive in your favorite ride or stop by the Village Green to browse unique, antique and other cool cars for the monthly Cars & Coffee held the third Saturday of the month February to September.

BBQ, Bluegrass & Bourbon – Saturday, March 22: 3:00-6:00 pm

Join Freshfields Village and Garden & Gun to celebrate three southern staples – barbecue, Bluegrass and bourbon, with a live music and culinary event held on the Village Green. Enjoy food truck fare, bourbon cocktails and sampling, and exceptional Bluegrass music while exploring Freshfields Village.

The Charleston Food Truck Festival is back for two full days of amazing food and fun for the whole family!

Fields to Families Presents “Seed to Soup” March 28

Mark your calendars and plan to attend a fundraiser/education event to support
the non-profit Fields to Families’ Haut Gap Middle School student garden on Johns Island.

The event called Seed to Soup will take place Friday, March 28, 2025, at St. Johns High School from 5:00-7:00 pm. A donation of $30 will give you a keepsake ceramic bowl glazed by Haut Gap and St. Johns art students and a tasting of soups and breads to enjoy all created by culinary students from St. Johns High and more than twelve local island restaurants.

The Seed to Soup event provides an opportunity to learn more about Fields to Families, its mission, and its volunteer opportunities. Purchase your tickets and learn more about this event here.

Lowcountry Oyster Festival February 2

The Lowcountry Oyster Festival returns on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Boone Hall Plantation (1235 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant, SC).

Highlights of this event include the legendary oyster shucking and oyster eating contests, beer, wine, cocktails, and food options from local restaurants and food trucks.

The Lowcountry Oyster Festival is a charity fundraiser that has donated $1,500,000 over forty years. The 2024 festival donated $106,000 to local causes.

Charleston Restaurant Week will be held January 9-19, 2025. This eleven-day celebration offers opportunities to try out a restaurant that is new to you and return to your old favorites.

Join Freshfields Village in December for a special holiday edition of the Starlight Cinema! The outdoor movie series will be held on Saturday, December 7 and Saturday, December 14. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy the family-friendly movie under the stars beginning at 6:00 pm.

Saturday, December 7 movie: Elf (PG, 97 minutes)

After accidentally falling into Santa Claus’ gift sack, a human baby is raised at the North Pole, growing up to believe he is an elf. Due to his large size, the “elf” causes chaos in Santa’s workshop, forcing Kris Kringle to send him on a mission to find his human roots. 

Saturday, December 14 movie: The Santa Clause (PG, 97 minutes)

A divorced adman inadvertently becomes the real Santa when he puts on the suit of the guy who fell off of his roof.

Join Freshfields Village for a Thanksgiving week Farmers Market on the village green on Monday, November 25 starting at 1:00 pm. The market will have an assortment of local produce and prepared foods, as well as other crafts that can be used for the upcoming holiday.

Fall into fall with some fun events at Freshfields.

October 11  6:00 pm – 9:30 pm Join Freshfields Village for a special outdoor Bingo & Movie Night on our village green on Friday, October 11 starting at 6 pm. More information about this fun evening can be found here.

Guests are invited to bring their furry friends to the Village for a pet expo to benefit local rescue organizations. The pet costume contest will be at 4:00 pm!
