Over 200 Seabrook Natural History Group members and their guests enjoyed this year’s SINHG Soup Supper. The Soup Supper has been a mainstay social event on Seabrook Island for over 30 years! The attendees sampled over 30 soups and 15 chilis along with some 26 delicious desserts. As usual the Soup Throwdown with Chef Randy was a highlighted event. Judges George Reinhart, Carol Bane and Jim Bannwart sampled entries from the 5 contestants Janet Davis, Barbara Fox, Ray Keegan, Ann Zielinski and Chef Randy MacDonald. They unanimously awarded the coveted silver spoon to Ann Zielinski for her delicious Kielbasa and White Bean Soup.
SINHG President, Frank Cermak was the master of ceremonies and graciously thanked the volunteers and the Seabrook Island Club for their assistance in making this a memorable evening.
