The Seabrook Island Turtle Patrol will hold both the New Member Orientation and the 2016 Kick Off Meeting on April 7th at the Lake House.
The New Member Orientation will run from 6 – 6:45 PM in the Osprey I Conference Room. An overview of the various Turtle Patrol functions and volunteer opportunities will be provided.

The 2016 Kick Off Meeting will be held in the Live Oak Hall beginning at 7 PM. There will be a brief presentation outlining the functions of the various teams and committees followed by a sign up session at which members can sign up for T Shirts, Beach Walking, Inventory Team, Pre Hatch Activity Team, Social Committee and Education Committee. There will also be a table with Walker Supplies.
Each table will have a knowledgeable representative available to answer any questions or assist with sign up.
The purpose of the Seabrook Island Turtle Patrol is to protect and preserve the sea turtles that visit our beach. This is accomplished through identification and protection of nests, inventory of nests, data collection and education of island residents and visitors.
