All Seabrookers are invited to attend COVAR’s September meeting, which will focus on meeting and hearing from senior officials of the Town of Seabrook Island (TOSI), Seabrook Island Property Owners Association (SIPOA), St. Johns Fire Department (SJFD), Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) and Seabrook Island Community Emergency Response Team (SI CERT), respectively.
At this meeting we will learn about their perspective on their organization’s role in emergency preparedness on Seabrook Island. Also, among other items they might want to discuss, is their Organization’s short-, mid- and long-term initiatives, if any, to enhance emergency preparedness on Seabrook Island.
John Gregg, Public Safety Official, TOSI; Janet Gorski, President, SIPOA; Chief Ryan Kunitzer, SJFD, a representative of the CCSO and John Reynolds, Leader, SI CERT, will be the participants.
The meeting will be Saturday, September 10 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the Lake House. Mark your calendars.
