A Time for Gratitude

Christmas came early to Seabrook this year. Despite some felled trees, downed branches, and flooding, Hurricane Matthew spared Seabrook his full wrath.

Our magnificent Live Oak canopy withstood the winds to welcome home weary and anxious storm evacuees. Such a reassuring, timeless vista was made possible by the generosity and vision of Seabrookers like you. Today the Green Space Conservancy continues to create “sacred places” to not only sustain critical wildlife habitats but to preserve peaceful human havens throughout our community.

We need your help to continue this mission. If you have not already done so, please read the Green Space Conservancy brochure inserted in the November Seabrooker. This year we are highlighting the advantages of property donations, but there are many other ways we welcome everyone’s support. Monetary contributions are always needed to help purchase lots. (We have included a remittance envelope for your use.) Donations can also be made online at The Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy or you mail a check to:

Didn’t receive a brochure? Additional copies are available at the Lake House, Town Hall, and the Amenities Office located in the Seabrook Island Real Estate Center near the gate.

Please consider making a gift to the island that has given so much to each of us. May our legacy as a community be the preservation of Seabrook as an environmental and spiritual refuge.
