Wes McAden with Pres. Blasch

AirMedCare Network, America’s largest air medical membership, is an alliance of affiliated air ambulance providers. Their highly skilled nurses, medics and pilots are trained for emergency medical situations assuring the highest levels of care for you and your loved ones.

Mr. McAden shared the benefits of a full Meducare Air membership that include:

  • As one of more than 2.6 million members, AirMedCare Network Providers will work on your behalf with your benefits provider(s) to secure payment for your flight, with any uncovered amounts considered to be fully prepaid.
  • Members who are transported by AirMedCare Network will not receive a bill for the flight.
  • Your membership is valid in all of our service areas (Over 260 locations and 32 states) so you are covered while traveling in those areas.

Presently, The Town of Seabrook has arranged benefits for SI residents with Meducare Air. Residents transported from within Charleston Country by Meducare Air or any AirMedCare Network Provider, who are insured at the time of transport, will have no out of pocket expense for the flight. Meducare Air bills your insurance provider(s) and whatever they pay is considered payment in full. Patients not insured at the time of transport are only billed the “Medicare Allowable Rate”. The Town of Kiawah also provides benefits for their residents with Meducare Air.

SI residents have the ability to upgrade to a full membership for only $35/year for their entire household.

For additional information on AirMedCare Network’s benefits and programs, Mr. McAden can be reached at 843.708.6192 or wes.mcaden@amgh.us.
