Respite Care Charleston is a non-profit organization that runs social day programs for people with Alzheimer’s or other types of 
dementia. Our mission is to provide an engaging and safe environment for people coping with dementia while also giving their caregivers a break.
We are currently looking for volunteers for our West Ashley location. Program volunteers are responsible for socializing with participants, assisting participants with activities, and helping in the kitchen. The program meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am–1:50 pm at 3075 Bees Ferry Rd, Charleston, SC 29407.
