If you have osteopenia, osteoporosis or concerned about bone health, this series of 4 yoga classes may be for you. This class is designed for those who have previously taken the Yoga for Bone Health Series or Workshop and desire to refresh their practice. Individuals with some knowledge of yoga poses are also welcome to learn how this yoga practice can help build bone, strengthen muscle, increase flexibility, improve balance, and posture.
Ava Koren (RYT-300), who is certified in teaching yoga for osteoporosis using Dr. Loren Fishman’s method, will be guiding participants through poses selected to build healthy bone. Each pose will be taught in 3 versions: beginner, transitional and classical. Guidance will be provided to each student at that person’s comfort level and guidelines given for safely advancing through the series. The science behind the chosen yoga poses and adaptations to allow every participant to participate to their fullest potential will be provided.
Join Ava Koren for this insightful 4 week Yoga for Bone Health semi private series beginning Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at The Lake House.
