LAKE HOUSE SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES INFORMATION
The Lake House will be offering several Semi-Private Series.

Please note, Semi-Private classes are limited to a maximum of 10 participants. Pre-registration is required. There are no drop-ins or refunds. Semi-private classes are not included in the monthly class pass and the fees for the entire class will be charged to your Property Owner/Club account. Semi-private classes and workshops are available to Seabrook Island Property Owners, Seabrook Island Club members, and guests staying on Seabrook Island.

Details on each series are below: 

MICHELLEFIT SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES
Heat it up with cardio boxing circuits and burn it out with strength building core exercises. This class is an interval structure class that will allow you to work to your highest level of intensity, while also toning your abdominal. Blast fat and build muscles MichelleFIT!

When:August 2 – August 25 (2 workouts per week for 4 weeks)*
Time:Mondays at 4:00 pm, Wednesdays at 3:00 pm
Cost:$96 for the series ($12 per workout)*

CORE FLEX SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES
Core flex is an hour-long class designed to focus on three essential elements of fitness; balance, core strength, and flexibility. The first 30 minutes will focus on balance and core, while the second half will focus on flexibility. This series is taught by Mark Durinsky.

When:August 2- September 9 (2 workouts per week for 6 weeks)
Time:Monday at 1:00 pm, Thursday at 1:00 pm
Cost:$120 for the series ($10 per workout)

BODY STRONG SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES
This is a body, weight resistance, strength class. It focuses on becoming strong, confident, and stable in your own body. The class will primarily utilize your own body as resistant to achieve maximum strength and stability. It will incorporate some free weights and resistance bands at times to increase the challenge. Challenge yourself in new ways as you improve your endurance, muscle strength, and balance.

When:August 3 – September 10 (2 workouts per week for 6 weeks)
Time:Tuesdays at 2:00 pm, Friday at 2:00 pm
Cost:$120 for the series ($10 per workout)

HIIT EXPRESS SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES
Short on time but still want to get in a great work out? This class is for you! This class incorporates a high intensity interval training that is sure to make you break a sweat and challenge your body, all in just 30 minutes.

When:August 3 – September 10 (2 workouts per week for 6 weeks)
Time:Tuesdays at 3:00 pm, Fridays at 3:00 pm
Cost:$120 for the series ($10 per workout)

AGED TO PERFECTION SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES
This class is geared towards our perfectly aged Seabrook family. This will be a chair exercise focused class and is ideal for those who have difficulty moving without some sort of aid or assistance. It will be a fun, safe and effective class to regain mobility and strength. Last, but not least, we will finish each week with a wine social built into the later part of the class. Now that is what we really mean by aged to perfection!

When:August 3 – September 10  (1 workout per week for 6 weeks)
Time:Tuesday at 3:35 pm, Friday at 3:35 pm
Cost:$120 for the series ($10 per workout)

VIN TO YIN SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES
We start the class with an energizing vinyasa sequence to warm the body, improve strength and build cardiovascular health. We will finish the class with deep stretches designed to relax and target the deep connective and fascia tissue of your body, increasing your flexibility.

When:August 4 – September 8 (1 workout per week for 6 weeks)
Time:Wednesday at 5:30 pm
Cost:$72 for the series ($12 per workout)

CHAIR YOGA SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support.  Benefits of chair yoga include improved flexibility, better concentration, increased strength, boost to your mood, reduced stress and joint strain. Whether you are recovering from surgery or looking to find an alternative to the up and down motions of traditional yoga, chair yoga can help.

When:August 4- August 25 (1 workout per week for 4 weeks)
Time:Wednesdays at 2:30 pm
Cost:$56 for the series

YIN YOGA SEMI-PRIVATE SERIES
Yin Yoga is a slow, soothing, and meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body. In Yin Yoga, floor-based poses are held passively for about two to five minutes to work into our connective tissues. The legs, hips and lower back are the main benefits of this practice. The more we work our fascial system and deep tissues, the less dense and tight our bodies become as we age. Movement and stretching hydrate fascia and literally help slow the aging process.

When:August 10 – August 31 (1 workout per week for 4 weeks)
Time:Tuesdays at 5:15 pm
Cost:$56 for the series

SPIN, STRENGTH, STRETCH
Spin, Strength, Stretch is a fully comprehensive fitness class. Utilizing the bikes for cardio, endurance, lung health and muscle development. The strength portion of the class will focus on the main muscle groups using hand-held weights or body weights. The stretch portion will focus on stretching the muscles that are used during the other portions of the class, leaving you feeling limber, flexible, and agile!

When:August 3 – September 7 (1 workout per week for 6 weeks)
Time:Tuesday at 11:15 am
Cost:$60 for the series ($10 per workout)

SIT DOWN AND GET FIT
This class offers all the benefits of a standing exercise, without the risk. Chair exercises will keep your joints flexible, improving your range of motion and mobility. They also strengthen and stabilize your muscles, resulting in improved balance, which is key for preventing falls and injuries. After a few weeks of regular chair exercise, you can expect to see an improvement in your health and fitness.

When:August 6 – September 10 (1 workout per week for 6 weeks)
Time:Friday at 11:15 am
Cost:$60 for the series ($10 per workout)

What is Spin?
Spinning is a group exercise class that focuses on strength, endurance, cardiovascular and recovery training while on a stationary bike. Sarah Mae brings her passion for running with a mix of high intensity endurance and cardio driven rides.

Never taken a Spin class? 
No problem, the great thing about Spin is that you can enjoy the energy of a group class while tailoring the experience to your individual fitness level and goals. You control your own RPM and resistance.

OPTION 1
This semi-private series will start at 8:30 am on Saturday, September 4.  Space is limited, so sign up now to reserve your spot.  Classes will be held at The Lake House.  Please bring water and a towel to class.

When:September 4 – October 30 (1 workout per week for 9 weeks)
Time:Saturdays at 2:30 pm
Cost:$90 for the series

OPTION 2
This semi-private series will start at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 7. Space is limited, so sign up now to reserve your spot. Class will be held at The Lake House. Please bring water and a towel to class.

When:September 7 – October (1 workout per week for 8 weeks)
Time:Tuesdays at 6:00 pm
Cost:$80 for the series
