Clean-up at Angel Oak Preserve Apr 19

This upcoming Earth Week, we invite you to join us to explore and clean up the 35-acre property owned by Lowcountry Land Trust that surrounds the Angel Oak Tree on Johns Island. This land sits between Maybank Highway and Bohicket Road and is the home to the future Angel Oak Preserve.

The clean-up will occur on Wednesday, April 19, at the Angel Oak Tree on Johns Island. It will begin promptly at 10:00 am, and registration is required. Please dress weather-appropriate and bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. We also recommend wearing sturdy shoes and long sleeves/pants. Please note there are some areas with poison ivy on the property. Click here to register.

Don’t forget on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy is sponsoring Samantha Siegel, Director of Angel Oak Preserve, who will present the near-final designs for the future 44-acre preserve surrounding the enormous, centuries-old Angel Oak. Click here for details.
