SIPOA – An Audubon International Sustainable Community

Seabrook Island Property Owners Association’s (SIPOA) Audubon International Sustainable Community Program (AISCP) recertification has been approved. As we begin our seventh year as an Audubon International Certified Community, Jill Moore, the Sustainable Communities Program Specialist from AISCP, will be at The Lake House on May 28, 2024 at 2:00 pm. She will do a site visit with staff and then will give a short presentation about the AISCP program for interested property owners. She will also present SIPOA with our Recertification Award

According to Audbon International:

The Sustainable Communities Program (SCP) is an international, science-based, third-party certification program that guides communities through a customized journey to become healthy and vibrant places in which to live, work, and play. That vision is founded in the three pillars of sustainability: a healthy local environment, quality of life for citizens, and economic vitality. The program is tailored to your community to ensure that its specific needs, priorities, resources, and challenges are addressed.
