2025 Camellia Walks at Middleton Place

Camellia Walks return on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays beginning January 18 at 11:00 am until February 27 at 12:30 pm .

Each winter, the beauty of camellias enhances America’s Oldest Landscaped Gardens with thousands of blossoms. Special 11:00 am walking tours given by expert guides focus on historic camellias, including the 1786 Reine des Fleurs, one of the first camellias planted in America.

Tickets for the special Camellia Walks are $15 per person in addition to general admission, and advanced purchase is required. Tours run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and last approximately 75 minutes.

For more information and to purchase tickets visit Middleton Place Garden Market.

Christmas Tree Disposal

If you missed putting out your Christmas tree as part of yard debris pickup, you can still do it for the Tuesday, January 7 pickup. Trees can be discarded curbside on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday—no later than 7:00 am on Tuesday.

In some parts of the East Coast, trees are taken down to the beach and used to help accrete sand. However, here on the South Carolina coast, we have a dynamic shoreline, and the trees eventually wash away, so please don’t throw them in the ocean. Thank you all for taking good care of our beautiful island!
