March SIAG Artist of the Month, Terri Goslin-Jones, PhD

Please join the Seabrook Island Artist Guild for a reception
to meet Terri, and view her creative artworks.

Tuesday, March 3
4:30 – 6:00 pm
Seabrook Island Lake House

Terri Goslin-Jones, PhD, is a psychologist, educator, poet, and visual artist whose work is rooted in expressive arts and a lifelong commitment to creativity as a path to personal and spiritual growth. Her artistic journey deepened through her studies in expressive arts with Natalie Rogers, PhD, and continues to be informed by her background in psychology, mindfulness, and poetic inquiry.

After moving to Seabrook Island in 2022, Terri joined the Seabrook Island Artists Guild (SIAG) and immersed herself in monthly workshops, embracing experimentation as a central aspect of her creative process. Her visual work includes oil painting, cold wax, and encaustic, often emerging from her love of photographing landscapes and writing poetry. For Terri, painting and poetry are inseparable—each informs and enriches the other, offering complementary ways of seeing, feeling, and making meaning.

Kiawah Arts Council presents “The Young Firebrands”

Kiawah Arts Council

Join celebrated pianist Andrew Armstrong as he leads the next program of his chamber music series, “Andy & Friends”, at the Seabrook Island House on Tuesday, March 3. For this dynamic installment, Andy is joined by seven outstanding young string players in a program that celebrates bold artistry and rising talent. Not only does Andy bring some of his internationally acclaimed musician friends together, but you’ll likely feel like one of Andy’s friends by the end of each performance!

The evening pairs the sweeping Piano Quintet of Johannes Brahms with the passionate String Sextet of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Souvenir de Florence. This is chamber music at its most powerful, lyrical, and exhilarating. Andy promises the Tchaikovsky will “set all of South Carolina on fire,” and with this electrifying ensemble, audiences can expect nothing less.

Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the performance begins at 7:30 pm in the Atlantic Ballroom. Click here for tickets and more information.
