o Statement page must respond to each of the following four (4) questions
1. What is the benefit to the SIPOA Community and all of its members that the proposed Bylaw or Covenant Amendment is intended to achieve?
2. What is the intended and likely impact of the proposed Bylaw or Covenant Amendment on current process(es), SIPOA personnel, actions, and financial costs if the amendment were adopted?
3. What are the intended and likely changes to process(es), SIPOA personnel, actions, and financial costs to SIPOA if the proposed Bylaw or Covenant Amendment is adopted?
4. What are potential risks to SIPOA’s not for profit status (IRS Code Section 501(c)(4)), and to the Covenant and Bylaw requirement that “…the purpose and business of SIPOA [is to]…preserve the Property values and the quality of life in the [Seabrook Island Development] if the proposed Bylaw or Covenant Amendment is adopted”?

A Gourmet Holiday SINHG Outing!

On the 9th of December, 10 eager and very hungry SINHG members ventured downtown to visit world-renowned chef, Bob Waggoner, at his spectacular cooking/dining venue. Below is a photo of the group and one taken with Chef Waggoner.

An array of high-end cooking stations and well-thought-out prep areas enhanced our entire experience.

Seared shrimp in a cream sauce served with penne was the 1st lesson.  Filet mignon topped with a wine/beef stock reduction was our 2nd treat!  Dessert—a puffed pastry with sliced pears and ice cream completed the feast!

All of this was served with appropriate wine pairings at a glorious table dressed with fine china and flowers—while the ebony, grand player-piano played on! What a fantastic experience!  Feast your eyes and sign up for this unforgettable experience when offered again.

Reservations not Resolutions to Ring in the New Year!

Tired of making perennial promises every January 1 to forgo Manhattans, prime rib, and crème brûlées until you lose 50 pounds? If so, why not begin 2017 not by giving something up, but by committing to an evening of decadent indulgence? (All for a good cause, of course!) Start the new year by reserving your place at the annual Seabrook Island Green Space Gala to be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Don’t delay! Seating is limited; last year’s reservations sold out quickly. Individuals, couples, or groups of friends (maximum of ten per table) are all invited to enjoy a delicious dinner and both a live and silent auction for just $75.00 per person. The evening promises to be a delightful and fun-filled way to contribute to our community goal of guaranteeing that Seabrook is always “Trending Green.” Beginning January 1 reservation forms will be available at the Lake House and can also be downloaded from our website, http://www.sigsc.org. Please make checks payable to Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy. Kindly mail or drop checks off with completed reservation forms to:
